New use of combination
|
The TruMatic 6000 (previously known as TRUMATIC 6000 L) represents the current generation of laser-punching combination machine from TRUMPF. By combining laser and punching technology, more and more complex machining tasks can be carried out effectively and at high productivity rates.
Combination technology means complete machining: The workpieces are machined in a single clamping using various processes. Standard contours such as round or rectangular holes can be carried out in one cycle in the punching unit - the same holds for threads or other formed sections. Intricate inner and outer contours are laser cut with smooth and burr-free edges.
Both processes are carried out together on the TruMatic 6000, leading to great flexibility in sheet metal working.

High process technology The TruMatic 6000 has a maximum stroke cycle of 900 strokes/min. In the case of engraving, a value of 2800 strokes/min may be attained. Because of the rotation of all tools, the number of tools necessary is reduced to a minimum. Threads are produced at a C axis rotation speed of 330 revolutions/min.
- Maximum stroke cycle of 900 strokes/min
- Engraving 2800 strokes/min
- Rotation speed of the C axis:
330 revolutions/min
Innovative tool technology Punches, strippers and dies are monitored by sensors during tool changes. This ensures process reliability. On the TruMatic 6000, the new fivefold and tenfold Multitools are installed, which can be used up to sheet thicknesses of 4 mm. Of course, many new tool concepts can also be used on the TruMatic 6000.
- TRUMPF Mulitbend: Creating right-angled bends up to 25 mm on outer and inner edges
- TRUMPF Multishear: Using it, it is almost impossible to tell the difference between punched and lasered cutting edges
- Roller technology: Offers roller shearing, roller beading, roller offsetting and roller pinching
- Quick tool changes: Less than 5 seconds for single tools and less than one second within Multitool.
In addition to this, the brush tables available as an option help to meet the increasing demands for non-scratch machining of parts.

High laser beam quality The latest TRUMPF laser is built into the machine frame of the TruMatic 6000. TRUMPF lasers have a very high beam quality and demonstrate excellent operational reliability in industrial applications. The cutting parameters for laser cutting are stored in the control system in the form of tables and do not have to be worked out by the user.
Straightforward control ensures that it is simple to operate
On-line help - E-shop for ordering spare parts On-line help is now available, the diagnosis concept logs malfunctions and offers problem-solving suggestions in plain language. Teleservice via a built-in modem is also provided.
The e-shop can be used to order spare parts with ease. The spare parts can be ordered either by the machine control or else using a computer with an internet connection.

Upgrading of the system to full automation The modular automation concept of the TrumaTic 6000 makes it possible to upgrade the system step-by-step towards full automation. Every part processed is then automatically discharged. Developments in the area of sensor technology contribute further towards process reliability.
With the TruMatic 6000, TRUMPF is setting new standards in combination technology. By combining lasering and punching processes, complex contours can be created more productively and more economically in both smaller and larger quantities. And all that with the usual high quality that one has come to expect from TRUMPF.
