For those who want 3D laser processing only for cutting, the TruLaser Cell 7040 is the perfect solution. By integrating the sub-units into the machine and safety concept of the system, floorspace requirements have been reduced to a minimum, coupled with high uptime and good accessibility.
The laser is routed through a completely encapsulated beam guideway to the machining optics by a system of water-cooled mirrors. The FocusLine regulation system keeps the focus position steady across the entire working range; during laser cutting, it also ensures that the focus is automatically adapted to the material type and thickness by means of laser tables.
This yields uniformly good cutting results, reduces the need for operator intervention and thereby minimizes the setup time. The rigid design of the motion axes with suitably high dynamics results in short machining times. Just like the TRUMPF LASERCELL 1005, the TLC CUT 5 can be programmed using TruTops Cell, TRUMPF’s 3D offline programming system.
The user-friendly control offers easy access to comprehensive laser cutting tables for a variety of materials; this translates into short trial times for new parts, coupled with high cutting quality, less refinishing work, all of which add up to greater production efficiency.
