The laser is routed through a completely encapsulated beam guideway to the machining optics by a system of water-cooled mirrors. The FocusLine regulation system keeps the focus position steady across the entire working range; during laser cutting, it also ensures that the focus is automatically adapted to the material type and thickness by means of laser tables. This yields uniformly good cutting results, reduces the need for operator intervention and thereby minimizes the setup time. The rigid design of the motion axes with suitably high dynamics results in short machining times. Just like the TRUMPF LASERCELL 1005, the TLC CUT 5 can be programmed using TruTops Cell, TRUMPF’s 3D offline programming system.
