TRUMPF offers a start-to-finish concept for flexible fabrication. Machines and programming systems are from one single source.
All systems are technology-oriented programming systems with integrated know-how from the field of sheetmetal working. State-of-the-art technology not only for the machines but also for programming.
TruTops Laser (previously known as ToPs 100) Programming system for laser cutting
Create or import drawings suitable for production with the laser
Generate process-reliable NC programs through contour recognition and geometry analysis
Automatic nesting of parts
Automatic processing: Corner processing with loops or fillets, recognize inside and outside contours, differentiate between open and closed contours, set common slitting cuts.
TruTops Laser (previously known asToPs 300) Programming system for punching and combination machining
Create or import drawings. Use of macros
Automatic punching: Single holes and complete contours
Automation components: Eject parts through chutes, remove parts with the TRUMALIFT and define loading operations with visual support
Optimized sheet layout for punching and combination technology
TruTops Tube (previously known as ToPs 400) Programming system for laser processing of tubes
Integrated drawing module with numerous "Standard cases" of tube machining which can be modified.
No design, but input of data for tube penetrations, topping and inserts
Automatic processing definition
TruTops Bend (previousy known as ToPs 600) Programming system for bending
Minimize preparation and setup times at the machine
Automatic generation and simulation of bend sequences
Create setup proposals
Bending factors based on TRUMPF experience
Photo-realistic display of situation at the press brake
Automation module (optional) for controlling the TRUMPF BendMaster for automated sheet handling
The automation module is fully integrated in ToPs 600: both the TrumaBend and the BendMaster can therefore be programmed from one application
TruTops Cell (previously known as ToPs 800) Programming system for 3D laser processing TruTops Cell is a technology-oriented programming system specially developed for TRUMPF 3D laser processing centers. The program is the connecting link between the design and production departments.
Importing 3D-CAD data Some processing possibilities:
Check and process the imported CAD models
Simply position the workpiece in the work envelope or determine a new axis system through calibration
Generate and extend geometries at the model
Perform automatic circular interpolation (CIP) for the 3D cutting contour
Identify standard contours automatically and output them as machine macros
Output:
TruTops simulates the tool path with collision check. Possible collisions between laser head and workpiece can be manually corrected in advance
The generated NC code is displayed throughout the creation phase and all changes are immediately updated
TruTops Fab- for controlling and planning sheetmetal fabrication
To know at one glance which machine and production jobs exist and their current status: with TruTops Fab, TRUMPF offers its customers a software solution that lends transparency to sheetmetal fabrication.
Advantages of TruTops Fab:
All machines and production jobs can be planned and controlled by TruTops Fab.
For this purpose, TruTops Fab offers wide-ranging possibilities for communicating with PPS systems, TruTops programming systems, machine controllers and storage systems.
Automatic machine feedback messages (MDE/BDE/Piece times/etc.) are available for evaluation, as are messages from the manual feedback systems.
With the other options TruTops Fab offers, all work steps in sheetmetal fabrication can be planned and controlled. Besides this, the production jobs can be scheduled, based on the capacities available at the individual workplaces.
The modular structure of TruTops Fab allows the customer to configure the system scope to best meet his specific requirements.
