Punching, bending, forming, tapping, contour cutting and engraving in one machine – that is complete processing with the TruPunch 3000 (previously known as TRUMATIC 3000 ROTATION).
Smooth punching with TRUMPF Multishear, bending with TRUMPF Multibend and the use of roller technology make the punching machine extremely versatile.
The output values of the TruPunch 3000 are convincing: 900 strokes/min for punching and 2,200 strokes/min for engraving. Tool changing is also incredibly fast: 3.1 seconds with "normal" tools and 0.6 seconds with multitools. Thanks to the easily accessible linear magazine, it doesn’t take much time to fit it with tools. The pre-loaded tool sets can be changed by manually unscrewing them without additional equipment. Just like its predecessor, the TC 500 R, this machine is available in both medium and large formats.
Integration of new forming tools
For fast contour cutting and beading, TRUMPF has integrated the Wilson-patented roller technology into the TruPunch 3000. With the right tools, it is possible to produce straight geometries, curves, as well as fillets, an application that is of primary interest to climate control and ventilation engineering.
TRUMPF Multishear makes it possible to give workpieces "laserquality" inside and outside contours. The punching tool, like all other tools, can also be rotated to any angle desired.
With TRUMPF Multibend, flaps can be made on the TruPunch 3000. Processing work on the press brake is no longer necessary, and stop inaccuracies are avoided because the part is positioned in the sheet skeleton. Usable with inside and outside contours, the formed area can also be combined with extrusions and threads. When it comes to tapping, numerous sizes ranging from M 2.5 to M 10 are available for a large range of sheet thicknesses.
No pressure marks
The programmable stripper, which can be used actively or passively, ensures the highest punching quality. The sheet metal can thus be processed near already formed areas. In addition, it holds the workpiece flat – actively positioning it for each punching stroke. With the infinitely adjustable stripper force, it is possible to process even sensitive materials without pressure marks. Workpieces are automatically removed through a 500 mm x 500 mm parts chute.
Remote maintenance possible
Behind the task-oriented operating menu is an open Bosch PNC-P control unit. Assorted program information and tool data that the user can change easily and quickly are stored in technology tables. Programming is performed via the TruTops Punch. Remote maintenance of the TruPunch 3000 is possible using telediagnostics.
