Tubes and profiles are usually supplied in bundles or packets. After an infeed section where the tubes are separated and their lengths measured, a gripper mechanism automatically transfers the tubes concentrically to the feed and rotation unit. The TRUMPF TruLaser Tube meets all requirements: Excellent dimensional accuracy is achieved (synchronized rotary axes, precision repositioning). Reliable workpiece support, also of long finished parts. A specially developed, user-friendly programming system. Stable workpiece clamping at the cutting position itself. Easy access to the cutting and feed areas. Machine and laser from one source: Machine and laser interfaces are optimally tailored to each other. After the cutting process, the finished parts are removed through programmable sorting units. Optional components for automated supply of blanks and for automatic workpiece removal and sorting are available for expanding the machine into a flexible manufacturing cell.
